Te Taumata Toi-a-Iwi submission to Amplify: a creative and cultural strategy for NZ

The Government’s draft creative and cultural strategy, Amplify, aims “to spark a conversation’ about the direction of the sector. As such, Amplify presents a unique opportunity to put forward ideas about what is needed to create optimum conditions for artists, arts practices and creative businesses. The submission from Te Taumata provides our perspective as a regional arts organisation on how the proposed strategy ‘fits’ for Tāmaki Makaurau and our thoughts on its response to national sector opportunities and challenges. We also note where we think further development of the strategy is needed to create a comprehensive roadmap for the future of the sector.
