Summary

This report presents topline findings from an online survey of those in the creative sector in Tāmaki Makaurau, between the period of June-July 2021. Arts Wellington and Te Taumata Toi-a-Iwi partnered to commission Dovetail, an Auckland-based research and evaluation company, to deliver a quarterly online survey to the creative sector across the Tāmaki and Pōneke regions. The survey’s intent was to measure trends over time about the state of the arts sector in the two regions and tap into key issues emerging in the creative sector. In total there were 761 responses. Tāmaki Makaurau had the second-highest number of responses with 245, and which accounted for 32% of responses in the survey.
